So how 'bout the weather today?! Talk about the beauty of Spring!! I decided to take my Grizzly up back and haul out some more leaves when I found out that there are 2 bees nests somewhere over the back patio!!! There were huge carpenter bees and wasps so I've got my work cut out for me! Needless to say, I didn't move many leaves hehe! I'm so afraid of bees it's not funny and even at my age when I hear one close to me, I do that "AAACK, A BEE!" dance as fast as I can hehe! I recently danced all over my kitchen trying to rescue what I thought was a wasp with a clear juice pitcher and a frying pan. When I finally caught it (after about 20 minutes of missing and freak-out dancing away thinking I'd pissed it off) I found that it was some strange type of beetle that just looked like a wasp when it was flying.
So the dogs both just got out and ran when the kids got home from school! It wasn't an accident this time as Cheeba literally tore through the screen door and bolted! Maia of course followed but she's easier to get because she comes when called. Tell me again why we don't need a better screen door and/or a fence around the front of the house?! Anyway, had to vent...thanx for listening lol :)
